The Photographer

Ted Davis

With over 20 years experience with a camera, Ted Davis studied Fine Art Photography at the University of Ottawa in Canada, where he graduated Cum Laude with Honours.

“I came to photography at the age of 9 with a Kodak 110 camera. I was amazed at how a tiny black box could have such a magical effect on people when held in front of them.  Although at that age I was often taking photos without film in the camera, I think I developed an aptness to observe the world through a frame. Photography allows me to create a sort of living memory that tells the unique story that is mine.”

“I form my interest in photography out of a curiosity for personal character, physical disposition, and an appreciation for human individuality.”
